نیایشگاه کرده است، ذات اجتماعی مسجد و نگاهی است که از درون آغاز میشود و به گستره شهر و تاریخ در زمان و مکان امتداد می‌یابد. مسجد را می توان یک نهاد مؤثر اجتماعی دانست که درون خالصی دارد. نوری که تنها از درون به آسمان نمی‌رود، بلکه می شود چراغی بر سر هر معبری تا تاریکی‌ها را روشن سازد. مساجد از زمان بنیان اولینشان توسط پیامبر تا به امروز همیشه نگاهشان به بیرون بوده است و دیوارشان بروی هیچ سمتی صلب و سنگین نبوده است. ارتباطی که نه تنها با شهر و کالبد آن بلکه با متن زندگی روزمره انسان های یک جامعه بوده است و در طول زمان بواسطه شهرسازی‌های جدید، نوع نگاه و شیوه زندگی امروزی راه دیگری در پیش گرفته و مساجد را از یک عضو پیوسته بافت شهری که بی واسطه با زندگی روزمره آدم‌ها در ارتباط است منفک نموده است. این پروژه تلاشی است برای حفظ توأمان شان و مقام معنوی این فضا با پیوستگی و درهم آمیختگی دوباره آن با شهر و زندگی روزمره مردم. مسجدی که شکل می‌گیرد تا مولد بافت اطراف خود باشد و اندامی باشد حیاتی از کالبد یک بافت شهری پویا. خوانشمساجد در طول زمان همواره ترکیبی بدیع از فرم و کارکرد بوده اند. چونان که فرم آن همیشه کارکرد نشانه ای و معنایی داشته است. وجهی آشنا، متمایز و کارا و قابل خوانش در سطح شهر. در این طرح مسیرها بگونه ای سامان یافته اند که خود ارتباطی باشند خوانا و مؤثر میان فضاهای شهری و بنای مسجد . ریتم شکل یافته حاصل از گذر مسیرها از میان مسجد فرمی خواهد ساخت که خوانشی است تاریخی از فضاهای مذهبی در حافظه جمعی جامعه ایرانی. بازخوانی جدیدی است از مساجد کهن. فضاهای تجربه شده و گر خاطره.  فرمی تعمیم پذیر، تکرار شده، آشنا و بدیع که یادآور حریم و حرمت مسجد به عنوان یک فضای اجتماعی فرهنگی و مذهبی است. فرمی که در عین خوانایی چونان مساجد تاریخ نه یک فرم که یک سلسله تجربه می شود در طول فضا. برای خوانایی بیشتر این مکان مذهبی سقف مسجد در قسمت ورودی شبستان ها به تدریج بالا آمده تا نه تنها باعث تقویت حس مذهبی بودن ساختمان از بیرون شود بلکه مردمی را که به قصد خواندن نماز بسوی مسجد حرکت می کنند را به طرف شبستان ها بخواند. انعطاف پذیری«مردم واری» و «تکیه بر زندگی روزمره» ، مردم در یک مسجد نیازمند انعطاف پذیری آن نسبت به کارکردهایی هستند که در زمان های مختلف این بنا می تواند پاسخگوی مقاصد آنان باشد. این که گاهی معبری باشد برای عبور از نقطه ای به نقطه ای یا گاه مقصدی باشد برای حضور و خلوت و گاهی دیگر اجتماعی را در خود جای دهد و حتی بیشتر، گاهی از درونش اجتماعی آغاز شود و آهسته آهسته به بیرون از آن و به سوی بافت شهر سرریز کند. همین انعطاف پذیری در زمان ها وشرایط گوناگون است که می تواند مسجد را از تنها یک نیایشگاه تبدیل کند به یک نهاد اجتماعی مؤثر که مردم و شهر را در  شرایط و زمان‌های مختلف بی واسطه به خود متصل می‌کند. گاه می‌شود خلوتگاهی برای  یک عابد  و گاه مکانی برای شکوه نمازی در روز عید  فطر و گاه شمه ای می شود عطرآگین برای آنکه مسیرمان را انتخاب کنیم. رابطه بی واسطه این مسجد با محیط شهری اطراف و عدم وجود اولویت و سلسله مراتب تعریف شده در آن منتج به شکل گیری فضایی منعطف خواهد شد که این ویژگی  باعث می شود هر کدام از مردم بنا به نیاز خود رابطه ای با این بنا برقرار سازند. الگوی پیوسته، الگوی مولدمساجد همواره در طول تاریخ یک کل منسجم اجتماعی و در هم آمیخته با شهر بوده اند. حائلی نبوده اند میان فضاها بلکه خود ارتباطی بوده اند در بافت های شهری که گاه مانند نقطه پرگار نقاط مختلف شهر را به هم اتصال می داده است. در این پروژه هم مسجد به کارکرد شهری- ارتباطیِ ذاتی خود بازگشته است و ارتباطی شده است میان شهر، پردیس دانشگاهی و فضاهای پیرامونش. تکثیر پیاده راه های شرقی غربی امتداد یافته در سایت در محل مسجد گردشی می کند رو به قبله و مکثی می شود میان مسیرهای موازی. میدان شهریمیدانگاه مقابل مسجد فضایی است پویا متوجه و محتَرِم به بزرگواری مسجد مقابلش. نه جلوه‌گری می‌کند در مقابلش و نه خود را منفعل و بی هویت داشته است، بلکه ملازم بزرگی مسجد است تا درک آن ساده‌تر شود. باغی است که نگینش را مقابل گذاشته است و لذت حظِ مسجد را نمی کاهد از بیرون. در درون خود اما پر جنب و جوش پر ماجراست برای انکه مکانی باشد برای قراری و گذاری. با انکه نیازهای کارکردی فضا را در خود جا داده است، فرصت را مهیا کرده است تا به یک تفرجگاه محترم در مقابل مسجد تبدیل شود. یک حالِ دلنشین در برابر فضایی آشنا. گسترش میدان شهریبا در نظر گرفتن الگوی مولد ، میدانگاه مقابل مسجد می تواند بخشی از پلازایی محوری باشد که پردیس ورزشی را به پردیس دانشگاهی متصل می کند و مسجد و میدانگاه مقابل آن عضوی از این پلازای محوری باشند. نمونه هایی از این نوع پلازا در شهرهای توریستی شکل گرفته است. روایت گذرهاگذرها در مساجد، تنها امتداد حرکت آدمی در طول یک مسیر نبوده است، بلکه ناگهان معنادار شدن و عمیق شدن حرکت است به سمتی. گاهی است برای تبدیل شدن حرکت آدمی به سلوک؛ سلوکی به سمت درون.از همین رو می شود که مسیرها در مسجد حلقه ای می شود برای پیوستگی با  شهر و مردم و در عین حال روایتی است پر حادثه از حرکت آدمی از بیرون پرهیاهو به درون و دوباره از درون به بیرون. مملو از شگفتی برای جدا شدن از مادیات و دنیای خارج . مسیرهای مساجد همیشه هدف را نه رساندن انسان از فضایی به فضای دیگر می گذارند که تغیر حال را موجب میشوند و انسان را مطمئن و امن از فضایی به فضای دیگر سرگشته می‌سازند. او را با غیرمنتظره ها رو برو می سازند تا انسان ناگاه خود را در مقابل خود و خدای خود دریابد. این پروژه نگاهی است امروزی به شأن گذر در رسیدن به مسجد. نگاهی «مردم‌وار» برای رسیدن که در ان اولویت‌و پس و پیشی وجود ندارد که از هر سمت رَوی همان مسجد و خداست و تو همان مردمی. در این مسجد شکاف‌ها مسیر را به فرد نشان می‌دهند، به درون می‌روند و او را می‌رسانند و سپس به بیرون هدایت می‌کنند. مسیرهایی که یک رنگ و یک جنس هستند و هر کدام داستانی و روایتی دارند برای رسیدن. روایت گذرهای این مسجد روایت آدم‌هاست. یک جنس، یک دل و برابر در پیشگاه خدای خود و هر کدام مفترق و یگانه به داستانی و روایتی. فضاهای عملکردیدر اطراف صحن مسجد فضاهایی با عملکردها و تعاریف مشخص قرار گرفته اند که ارتباط آنها با فضای مرکزی و شهری صحن مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. اعتبار بخشی به فضای صحن مهم ترین دلیل اتصال نزدیک شبستان ها به این فضای مرکزی می باشد. به این ترتیب فضای قابل دسترس و بی واسطه صحن از فضای معنوی شبستان ها بهره خواهد برد و همچنین قابلیت گسترش یافتن صفوف نماز را در خود، بدست خواهد آورد. شبستان خانم ها نیز بر روی شبستان آقایان در ترازی بالاتر قرارگرفته است تا با وجود اتصال مستقیم به فضای شهری صحن محرمیت خود را حفظ نموده باشد. سرویس های بهداشتی به دور از شبستان ها در قسمت شمالی مسجد قرار گرفته اند تا هم از بیرون و هم از درون مسجد قابل دسترس باشند. دیگر عملکرد تاثیرگذار بر بنای مسجد بخش تجاری تعریف شده در طرح است که با ایده عدم تداخل با فضای مذهبی مسجد در ترازی پایین تر در گودال باغچه در نظر گرفته شده است. دسترسی به فضاهای جانبی بیرون از فضای حیاط درنظر گرفته شده تا فضای صحن و گوشه های شکل گرفته  در اطراف آن امن تر و آرام تر vastitude an ordinary place for worship. A mosque can be such an constructive social organization with a pure spirit and its light can illuminate the darkness’s. From its initial time up to now have been such extroverted places which did not have a solid surface from any directions, for they have a tropical undertone not only with the municipality and the material life but moreover they have a unconfined connection with people’s daily life ,but during the time due to the modern civilization and novel methods of living this has changed; mosques do not have their original integration with the society, therefore this project is trying to reconnect this important social organization with the municipality and people’s daily life, for mosques can generate their concept and can play a crucial role in the texture of a dynamic city. RecallDuring the time, mosques have been such a novel combination of form and function; in a way that their form has played an important role as a monumental and conceptual building, which have unchangingly been a recognizable and practical place. In this project, variegated passes were designed and organized in a way that could create recognizable and constructive conjunctions between the municipality and the mosque building. And while these passes are crossing through the mosque, a novel form is created which can remind the historical memory of religious buildings in Iranian minds and can be a modern recall of warmed-over mosques. A generatable, modular, familiar and novel form that can recall a mosque as a social, crucial and religious space. Also, for stuff increasingly conceptual, in Shabistan part the roof of the mosque has gradually risen up that not only intensifies the same religious sense of warmed-over domes from the outside but moreover invites the entered people from the entrances towards the Shabistan. FlexibilityFocusing on people’s daily life is one of the main notation of a mosque, moreover people require a practical flexibility from a mosque, as this place could be used in various situations. For instance, mosques can sometimes work just as a pass way or can be a pure destination for the presence and worship and sometimes can be such a place that gathers variegated groups or the huge number of people; this flexibility will take a mosque vastitude a place for worship and make it a place as a practical social space for various situations and occasions which connect the municipality and its people to this monumental religious building. Continuous pattern, Generating patternDuring the time, mosques have been an integrated social space which was unfluctuating to the city. In this project, the mosque concept has returned to its initial spirit and is creating a crucial conjunction between the city, the university and its surrounding. The eastern western pedestrians which were unfurled through the project site were waffly their direction towards the "Qibla" in the mosque's location, and create a pause space between the parallel passes.
